Circular movement rotating endlessly, the rim of my grandfather’s horse drawn wagon was this hoops first incarnation. Now, a steel rim of intention creating order at the edge of what would be chaos. Primordial within every civilization has been a spiritual Black Madonna archetype; the female energy that ventures into unknown voids in search of its legacy, represented by the lost son. Emerging from that void united, mother and son create a new order. Human life experiences continuous affects within sets of different planes of reality, temporarily dissecting and altering movement in intention. An ever-changing structure of continuity: A Mandala of Ghia’s Black Madonna.
