The magnificent old growth tree, downed through windfall, that provided this sculpture was a “bone tree” (sustaining anchor tree) for the contemporary woodland that surrounded it. Imagination within this sculpture elicits an invocation for mindfulness that realizes a profound symbiotic relationship of mutual preservation between humanity and woodlands which generate sustaining oxygen.
